Like every year the pro paintball season was packed with roster changes. We say Dynasty, Impact, Infamous, Ironmen, and nearly every other team makes changes, some major some not. We are going to cover just the top 5 roster changes in the NXL.
The Ironmen have deepened their roster with new pick up Scott Graham. Scott Graham most recently played with World Cup semi-pro winners Distortion. Distortion were and up and coming team, but have been picked apart this offseason. Nick Pesz and Mike Kerr have also left the team to play with local pro team Chicago Aftershock. The Ironmen have RELOADED in the off season, they nearly a completely new roster and you will see them play on Sunday this year.…
Keith Devit is back in the pro ranks. Devit is an experienced pro playing, for teams like Vicious and Heat. Keith is a great player and it was surprising to me how he couldn’t find a pro team in 2016. He spent last year with the New York Outlwas in the Semi-Pro division. Look for Devit to play along side Metr on the snake side.
The Los Angeles Ironman have added to their already impressive list of pickups, in the way of veteran snake player Demetrius “Metr” Ninios. Ninios has played for San Antonio X-Factor, AC Dallas and most recently LA Infamous. The Ironmen are looking strong; at least much stronger than last year. The Ironmen have added two very strong players in the off season, both Ninios and Siewers should make an immediate impact on the team. If it were up to me this would be the 2017…
Going into his 11th year as a pro, Siewers is set to rejoin the team he played for in 2008 the Los Angeles Ironmen. The Ironmen announced late last month that they would be rebuilding and looking to add new players this off season. The addition of a player of Siewers’ caliber to a roster that is rebuilding is huge. Siewers will add some much needed winning experience on a team filled with new players and he could…
Back when men played paintball, no face protection, no ear protection, that was for pussies. Ironmen and All-Americans battle it out in the finals. More OG Pros, Bob Long, Darryl Trent, Shane Pestana, Dave Youngblood, and Billy Gardner.
