Breaking Down the Brand New JT Flex 9
2026-10-10
Tonight we got our hands on the brand-new JT Flex 9. We broke down what changed from the Flex 8, swapped out the ears live, and ran through whether it actually beats a Proflex.
Tonight we jumped on for a special Friday stream because the brand new JT Flex 9 officially dropped. We had the fresh clear build in the studio to see if it actually fixes all the old headaches from the Flex 8. We broke down the big changes—like ditching that clunky forehead shield, opening up the bottom for breathing, and finally adding soft rubber ears that you can swap out. We even threw some clear Deviate ears on live, put it on our scale next to a standard Proflex, and talked about fit and frame compatibility. Along the way, we hung out with the chat, answered your questions on why so many pros only run black gear these days, and took a quick trip down memory lane looking at old tournament photos and 90s paintball lore.
