The NXL will have a mechanical only division at all the events in 2017. The division will play on Sundays only, entry is $500, 1st place takes home $1,000 and the series winner will win “new mechanical markers” what guns I’m not sure, I assume it will be Empire Resurrections. The finals will be played on the pro field and broadcasted on GoSports.com. All this really is, is an attempt by the NXL to get players that didn’t make…

UPDATE 2/21/17: NPPL Cancel First Tournament The NPPL news keeps rolling in, this time we have some dates, locations and some field/layout updates. The first NPPL event of 2017 will be held April 7th – 9th, just outside of Sacramento at West Coast Adventure Park. If the West Coast names sounds familiar, it’s because they just hosted the Dead Legends big games back in October. The field dimension will be 180ft x 100ft just like we reported two weeks…

For those of you who miss the days of hiding behind a massive tube thingy, rejoice! The West Coast Paintball Player League (WCPPL) are bringing back the carwash. The carwash used to be a mainstay on every tournament paintball field. The original version started out on 10-man fields and literally looked like the entrance to a carwash, much like the snake used to look like an actual snake. Over time the carwash shrunk to about 4 feet tall, 12…

UPDATE 2/21/17: NPPL Cancel First Tournament No you are not in a time warp and yes the NPPL is back! In September the NPPL announced that it was going to come back but at the time had very little concrete details. This week the the league launched there new website, that gives us a bit of insight of what is to come. At first the league was not sure on field size, number of players or a number of other…

After an abysmal first year the PCPL (Pacific Coast Paintball League) have been acquired by the UPL (United Paintball League). The PCPL was originally designed to compete directly with the WCPPL; a monumental task.  The WCPPL have run a great tournament series and a very loyal following here on the West Coast. From day one the PCPL were fighting an uphill battle and after only two event and averaging only 16 teams at each event across three divisions the league is…

Polar Bears Tarko Sale are leaving HK Army and Planet Eclipse and will be using Dye gear for the 2017 season. The Team will be hand to toe in Dye gear, M2, I5, R2 and UL apparel. The Polar Bears are probably best known in the US, as the team that Ryan Greenspan and Oliver Lang played for. In their own right the Polar Bears are a pretty good paintball team, but possibly a bit better when…
