In a not so surprising move (for those who follow the world of  tournament paintball) the Millennium has made the switch to the WBPO 500 format. Last year the Millennium Series introduced us to the idea of M500 which has now morphed into WPBO 500. It’s pretty simple, every player gets 560 paintballs, one 280 round loader, and two 140 round pods. Once on the field players can trade pods and divide the paintballs up…

I’ll let the Ducks press release speak for it self. It is sad to see them leave the Millennium, but VERY happy the team will continue on. Dear friends and followers, after long consideration and many thoughts about the future, we have finally come to a conclusion. After 16 years in the Millennium Series we have decided it is time to try something else. The team has gone through a lot of changes over the…

This isn’t the first time we have heard the limited paintball idea in the last few years. Last year at both a Millennium Series and an NXL a test tournament was run to try out the new format. Apparently the WPBO was happy with what the say and will be looking at making 500 limited paintballs the new normal in 2017. This is not the first time that limited paint has been used to reduce the overall cost of…

Ryan Greenspan will no longer be playing with the Polar Bears in the Millennium Series. Greenspan and Oliver Lang for the past two years have both been playing with the Polar Bears in the Millennium Series and with San Diego Dynasty in the NXL/PSP. Greenspan sated that the team was looking to go with an all Russian team rather than bring in players like Greenspan and Lang. It is unclear whether Lang will be playing with the…

The Millennium Series is stepping up its game! This year the Millennium will be going to Complex Esportiu Futbol Salou in Salou or just outside of Tarragona in southern Spain. The real news is that the entire event will be played surface real soccer fields with high quality artificial turf. In a change to our calendar of past seasons, the first event of the 2016 season takes place at a brand new venue on the sunshine coast of…

In an effort to unify paintball around the world, the WPBO released the new “W” bunker replacing the Race in the NXL, the M in the Millennium and the A for the PALS. So far there been virtually nothing but hate and disdain for the new monstrosity, it is a huge waste of space. The idea behind its hugeness is that it will better aid in making the points 5 on 5, and not getting players…

It appears that the NXL and its WPBO partners the Millennium Series and PALS will be adding some new larger bunkers of the upcoming 2016 season. The biggest thing about the new field and upgrade kit, the 6 new big bunkers… they are designed and will be placed on field to stop everyone from being killed off the break… this will allow more people to be able to play the game and not have to me 18…
