In the world of paintball, some things are necessary, and I’ve got the lowdown on what you should definitely have in your kit.
Pod Swab
This thing is a lifesaver for cleaning your pods! It’s a big ol’ swab made of microfiber with a handy handle and carabiner. Trust me, trying to clean pods without it is a pain. You can stuff a barrel swab in there and wiggle it around, but it’s slow and doesn’t get the job done. With the pod swab, cleaning is a breeze, you just push it into the pod and its clean. Just slide off the microfiber and toss it in the wash or wash it in the sink and let it air dry. It’s been around for 8 years now, and I don’t know why it took so long to invent this genius tool.

This little gem is a game-changer for carrying paintballs. Back in the day, I used to rip a hole in the bag with my teeth (yeah, I still do that), shove the pod inside, and pour the paint in. Tool Kit
You don’t need a ton of tools, but having some essentials and some spare parts can save your day at the field. My little kit is straightforward: a good set of allen wrenches, grease, and some spare parts. Allen wrenches are a must-have for any gun. Invest in good tools; they’re more precise and won’t round as easily as cheap ones. I love Bondhus Allens; they’re top-notch and last a long time. Also, keep some o-rings handy just in case. They’re cheap, and you’ll need them at some point. And o-ring picks are great for those hard-to-reach spots.

Barrel Swab
Don’t forget a barrel swab! Even with improved paint and guns, you’re still going to break paintballs. Cleaning your barrel is essential for accuracy, and the swab does the trick. Gun Case
Organize your gear with a gun case, better than having your gun loose in your bag or wrapped up in your clothes. Tank Protection

A small spray bottle is a new addition to my gear bag, and it’s a game-changer! So much easier to clean my mask and gun with a quick spray than wiping with microfibers forever.
