A few weeks back Virtue released the Ace and Spire IV. There was a lot of uproar because the Ace features some plastic parts that Virtue did not disclose in the product description.

The Ace has plastic on the fore-grip as well as the backcap.

The ACE back-cap and fore-grip cover are made from a special high strength proprietary performance material imported from France that’s chromatic coated to match the loader. The material alone is actually 6x more expensive then the type of nylon used in our loaders.

The anodized aluminum backcap is included for anyone that has a concern, so you do get both. But we are confident that the chromatic one not only looks awesome, but it’s an entirely unique part that’s not on any other gun. If you want a similar look to what’s been done, use the standard aluminum one.

The fore-grip cover is designed to actually have better grip, and it does when compared to the original stock one. It of course, also looks great. This isn’t something we made on the cheap. It’s a defining component of the look to match with the loader chromatic parts and is also lighter and still very strong.

We hope everyone is proud of the fact that they have the only chromatic parts on a paintball gun in history. It’s not something we “cheaped” out on. It was very costly to make the tools. The most costly injected material we’ve ever used was purchased for this project (to both have the durability and work with the chromatic infusion) and of course, it’s got the matching chromatic look.
